As Android tablets increase in popularity, and Android L nears final release, FireLogic has pegged another timely class at the local Niles Library for residents of the surrounding areas. Our latest iteration of the Android Tablets for Beginners course was held live on Saturday September 20, 2014 from 10am-noon at Niles Library to a crowd of about 8-10 people.

We covered topics such as Android interface basics, common elements on the physical tablets, home screen navigation and customization, as well as neat features like Google Now and Google Maps offline capabilities. Discussion was had about what kind of Android tablets we recommend (the Google Nexus 10 is our favorite by far) and also what the next version of Android brings, codenamed Android L.

A handy cheat sheet was handed out to patrons who attended.

A recording of the class is now available on the FireLogic YouTube Channel, or right below on this blog post page. See you at our next class!
