FireLogic began a new round of Google Apps classes at the Niles Library this past weekend, starting with Google Gmail for Beginners. The class was hosted by Google Apps Certified Professionals Derrick Wlodarz and Wesley Howard. They covered topics ranging from basic Gmail interface usage, how to send/receive email, how to work with your address book, and finished off with recommendations on neat Google Gmail Labs functionality. A full Q&A session was hosted at the end to finish off the discussion.

FireLogic will be hosting more Google Apps classes at the Niles Library in the next few months. We continue forward with Google Calendar for Beginners on August 18, and then follow up with Google Docs for Beginners on September 15. Both sessions will be on Saturday mornings at 10am-12pm, and pre-registration is necessary with the Niles Library via their website or by calling them at 847-663-1234. See you there!
