It’s been just about a month since we hosted our Gmail training at the Park Ridge Public Library, and we are already set to return for another round. This time, on November 16, we are opening the entire first floor Library conference room to patrons. We are expecting upwards of 30 people for the event and believe that everyone will learn a lot!
While our previous sessions focused on Apps from a beginner’s point of view, this time we are taking it to the next level and will be showing off a bevy of uses for Google Apps. For example, we promised to go step-by-step on how Gmail Filters work, as well as show how Contact Groups can be effective mailing lists for family and friends. Gmail isn’t the only App that will be getting attention, though. Sites, Calendar, and Docs will also be showcased in productive ways.
A good portion of the FireLogic team will be involved in the training, including Google Apps Certified Trainers Derrick Wlodarz and Michael Cannizzo. Erica Bosco will also be on hand. We will be providing a full printed agenda for all attendees and will also have a few neat giveaways for those in attendance.
If you are interested in signing up for the event, you can still do so at the Park Ridge Library website, which is: http://www.parkridgelibrary.org
