For those who missed our Google Apps class from this weekend, we have finally gotten the recording uploading for your viewing pleasure. This latest presentation was titled “Google Apps for Working Professionals” and was hosted live at the Niles Library 3rd floor board room. This was the second in a series of classes on applying Google Apps to your own personal and work life. Our previous course, at the Park Ridge library just two weeks prior, was centered around Google applications for things from organizing recipe collections to using digital RSVP forms – all for free! That class is viewable in its full form as well on our YouTube channel.
In this two hour show-and-tell lecture, Derrick Wlodarz (Google Apps Certified Trainer) provided a full discussion about why leveraging the cloud for solving our digital file sharing needs is seamless and brings down the traditional ‘silos’ that exist between users. Full demonstrations were provided on how various apps like Google Docs and Google Calendar can be used to make work life easier, more manageable, and rely less on scattered paper as we are used to.
The video for the session is provided below, or you may opt to view it directly on our YouTube channel. If there are any questions which you did not get to ask at the class, feel free to email Derrick directly at [email protected] We always do our best to provide a response in a timely manner about training topics.
