We hosted class 3 of 4 in the Google Apps for Beginners series this past weekend at the Niles Library. The class was titled Google Docs for Beginners and gave our large crowd of patrons a great baseline for not only how to get around Google Docs, but also how to fully utilize the features that the new Google Drive integration has to offer. The class was presented by FireLogic team members Derrick Wlodarz and Wesley Howard.
The topics that were covered in the class include:
- The basics of Google Docs access and interface usage.
- Using Google Drive for uploading/exporting documents of all types
- Sharing documents and collaborating in real time
- Printing Docs on the fly
- Working with the Google Drive iPad app
