Dallas County R-1 School District, serving roughly 1600 students and covering grades K-12, was interested in engaging with a forward-looking technology partner that could help make its 1:1 computing initiative a success. Headlines in the educational community about failed 1:1 rollouts were numerous, and district management was committed to not make the same mistakes as other districts in its shoes.

The team responsible for a concise Chromebook & G Suite deployment and training plan leveraged years of knowledge taken directly from previous in-the-field experience managing large, complex technology platform rollouts for the K-12 sector. Delivery of the project goals entailed a physical onsite training presence with administrative and teaching staff at Dallas County. Broken into two distinct training tracks, FireLogic delivered a customized training agenda across numerous sessions with targeted staff engagement, hands-on demos, and live Q&A capability. All training was recorded and shared privately via online channels, allowing all staff who attended to review and re-watch all administered training at any time down the road.
At the end of the day, the Dallas County rollout of Google’s G Suite and a fleet of Chromebooks was considered a success by all measures.
