New to Office 2013? Microsoft has free PDF quick guides available!
Who’s to say that Microsoft never gives anything good away for free? Hot on the heels of the Office 2013 release last week, Microsoft has made available a full set of downloadable Quick Start guides.
These are fully featured PDF files that you can download per-product, and print out if necessary. They are all done in beautiful full color with plenty of screenshots and pointers to get you moving on the new Office products.
The guides cover everything from Word 2013 to Access 2013 and even the new Publisher and Visio products. You can view previews of each Quick Start guide on the following Office website. The only thing needed to view the excellent guides is Adobe Reader, which you can get for free from FileHippo with a simple download.
FireLogic plans on hosting a set of Office 2013 classes for those new to the product starting in mid 2013, live at the Park Ridge and Niles libraries. Keep an eye out for your new Library mailers to catch information on when we will be offering the class at each location. We plan on teaching about the new features available in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2013.
